Babies and their babysitter

I don't think Bob, our cat, has the best intentions in mind. I now have them in an old dog cage we have.

Got our baby chickens today for the chicken coop I'm building! We got 6 Golden Comet chicks. I guess they are good egg producers (5-6 per week) and start laying eggs after about 15 weeks. I'm excited to walk in my backyard to get eggs for my breakfast instead of getting them at the store.

Right now they have to stay in this brooder box with a light on them to keep them warm. They also have starter feed and vitamin water. I hope they all make it!
