Hands at work....

Today, Moments, aka Lynne arrived at the Sydney airport for her biannual visit to my new home!!! I love that she decides to visit us out here - this might be her forth visit since i've been here, almost 2 years....and i so appreciate her amazing commitment to visiting me!!! Lynne and I have known each other for over 30 years....so lots of history and deep bonds here! We headed to the craft store Michaels, she had the need to stock up on 'craft' items....about an hour later, we emerged from the store, with lots of exciting and crazy stuff! Here she is trying out her new toy.....an amazing piece of equipment that creates a lovely crocheted type chain.....she brought some beads and sea glass which she plans to create wonderful pieces of jewelery!

One of our plans is to head to some of the amazing beaches here....Lynne searching for sea glass...and i'm on a mission to collect some seaweed for the garden! never done that before, i'm excited!!

Anyway, as always, it is a total joy to have her here with us.....we've had a lovely curried dinner with a few glasses of wine....oh dear, i fear the diet is about to be abandoned for the next few days....well, i mean she's only her till sunday, how much damage can i do!!!
