Stitching

This is a bit of the Hardanger embroidery that I have been doing at the Stitch 'n' Bitch. There is a group of us, getting more every week, who get together, with knitting, sewing, quilting, patchwork etc, and have a bit of a blether and put the world to rights!

It is actually held in the village hall on the adjoining island, but it is still a good way to keep involved in the local community. Because I work in the town, 12 miles away, on yet another island, and don't have children at the local school it would be easy to lose touch with what was happening round about.

Luckily we have a great community and there is always something to get involved in - whether you want to or not, someone will drag you along!
