Little Tiny Cactus Flowers

Mara will be quite disappointed that this is only a flower picture, which are okay in very small numbers. Her preference if for people, horses, other pets and zoo animals and maybe a few bugs or flowers. So, I apologize Mara, but we never got a chance to have you pose today.
The cactus is small and it has very tiny little flowers interspersed between the spines a circumferential band about a third the way down the cactus. I tried for a bigger cactus flower but Mara, the near 3 year old grandchild discovered pliers today and removed lots of petals from her hated enemies the cacti.
I give thanks for grandchildren.
