Had to recover after having "Adventures in Set-up Land" yesterday. My planned business trip to Prague for training happened to be "What can go wrong on a business trip" training. Instead of flying off at 11:50 the first flight was cancelled, we got another flight to Heathrow which took off only after 2pm. Didn't get the 2nd flight to Prague but there should be another at 7pm, so we three ladies spent the time hanging around eating, chatting and drinking red wine to celebrate Lynseys birthday. Well, thanks to the red wine we weren't too stressed when the flight to Prague was cancelled and the cue at the BA helpdesk had waiting times around three hours. As all flights to Prague for the next day were booked out and all hotels around the area also we finally got a flight back to Glasgow and a taxi brought us home in the middle of the night... At least Lynsey got an autograph from these two gay guys, Colin soundso and another who are doing a home refurbishment show (??? don't watch TV, so don't know).
In the end our meeting got cancelled and instead of being in Prague I ended up at my desk in Livingston...
