Pin Cushion

Walked through the park this morning to see what had changed whilst I was away. Lots of blossom and new buds, and the formal flower beds were full of tulips standing like soldiers.

Came across this little patch. The tiny flowers standing proud above the leaves on their thin black stems reminded me of pins.
