passport picture FAIL

Things did not go to plan with regard the passport photo taking today.

Someone suggested that Jessops do it in store and just keep taking them until they get a good one. We went there with high hopes only to be disappointed as their printer was broken. In desperation (Chris is taking the form for the countersignator to sign tonight) we went to Tesco to use the booth in there. WELL, the seat was too far away from the screen and way too low down. So she stood on it but it wasn't until the pictures were taken that we realised her head wasn't big enough in the picture. So the new plan is to upload a picture that we took ourselves to passpic.com where they ensure that it complies and then send us a copy. All for another £5 and we have to wait 2 days. But at least we will know that the photo will be suitable.

Apart from taking bad passport pictures we have not done an awful lot today. Chris cleaned the fish tank and I sorted out some photographs and picture frames and filled in lots of mistake nail holes in the walls...

Amelie seems to be eating her food again which is good and doesn't seem to be coughing at all anymore...wait, spoke to soon, she just had a wee splutter. She definitely seems better and I thought I saw a glimpse of tooth number 9 just below the gum so that could explain the general grumpiness.

She is still awake right now though and its 20 minutes past bedtime so I had better go and sort her out...
