Eight Tomorrow
This time eight years ago I felt my first Braxton Hicks contractions. I was so excited. I wasn't due for another three weeks or so and was tickled pink that my 'pretend contractions' had arrived.
Oops...My BH contractions were actually stage one of labour. I slept through stage two and woke up pretty much at stage three, thinking, 'Blimey, these are a bit strong.'
Anyway, a few hours later and I was cuddling my little bundle of joy. So how did he get to be so muscular...and flexible...and grown up?
He was practising a few gym exercises in his room tonight with his back to me so I captured this. I'll set it up properly I think in a few days and see if I can get more DoF.
He's an amazing kid. Sooooo not normal (I only realise how not normal now I have Noah for comparison!) but amazing. I marvel at him every day even if some days I wish for a tad more normality.
He's just asked Bob who would win...a Bakugan or a Pokemon. Bob said it would depend what game they were playing...if it's chess his money is on the Bakugan. Henry is now trying to explain what he really meant and Bob is being deliberately obtuse. H has now just asked what power Bob would wnat his Pokemon to have and Bob has just replied, 'The power of sarcasm.' And I wonder why H isn't normal!
