more chic than shabby!

Today I finished painting the second table from our nest of tables in the living room. It was dry outside for long enough to get the final 2 coats on the top and 3 coats on the bottom of this little beauty. And then I decided to set the vase of magic tulips on top of it for a blip.

The reason they are magic is that they looked pretty dead at the weekend and were bent right over, almost 90 degrees out the vase. We took them out the sunlight and into the shade, topped up the water and added a bit of baby bio and they slowly went straighter and upwards again.. until suddenly plop - one came back to life and shot straight upwards. Was enough to shock us and our friends Neil and Roe who were there at the time to witness it!!
