Corfe Castle

Beautiful ruined castle in the wonderful Purbeck hills. Sounds like a tourist advert but it is spectacular, although this picture doesn't really capture its ruined grandeur. Supposedly inspired Enid Blyton when she created Kirrin Castle for "Five on a Treasure Island", although that's open to debate apparently.
