Great Blue Heron

Went to lunch with my dear friend D today. Hadn't been together for months. It felt good to catch up and just hang out. On the way home we stopped by Baskett Slough and I got a few pics of this heron and some Canada geese.
Decided this one of him landing was a good one because you can see his color better. Notice the rain in the pic too.
