Lambkins

Last night, Tom and I watched as a ewe gave birth to twin lambs, just beyond the dyke that borders our garden. There was no assistance for her, other than the companionship of other ewes, just the field, trees and a soft grey sky.
This morning, I caught a quick shot of these slightly older lambs, gearing up to a day of races, naps in sheltered clumps of reeds and the comfort of their grouchy mothers.
