Bridging the age gap

When you have someone to stay in our fair city, I sometimes find it quite tricky to think what to do with them, especially when they are a bit infirm and teetery on their pins. And not really up for a night on the tiles. Unusual, given the beauty and culture of Edinburgh, but that's probably because I take it all for granted living here.

As the weather was dodgy and dreich, we took a trip out to South Queensferry for a dander round and some soup. Good choice all round. And of course, now we're back home, the sun's come out and it's warmed up considerably.
