Three Cheers for the Faded Red, Off White and Blue

I'm not a huge patriot and not fond of jingoism but this towel always makes me smile. I bought it at the time of the Queens Golden Jubilee to make a costume for one of the kids but decided against using it. It's been a very useful towel and of course is now what they call 'on trend'. I like to hang it on my washing line so that the whole pattern can be seen, like some ragged ensign.
