People in Glass Houses (slight return)

British architecture in the second half of the 20th century went through a bit of a lean patch, I reckon. I can't think why. It's almost as if something had happened to make the rapid construction of utilitarian buildings a necessity.
Recently, however, I think things have been looking up a bit. This is 55 Baker Street, London, designed by Ken Shuttleworth (not to be confused with George Shuttleworth, Speed Demon, or John Shuttleworth, singer of the deathless "I Can't Go Back to Savoury Now"). I think it's fab!
