Painting 1, 2011. First painting for this year.
Painted yesterday afternoon and early this morning. Oil on canvas, 14 by 11 inches. Short painting video.

Update, April 18
At the beginning of this year I was putting this painting away when it fell. The paint was thick and wet. I caught it with my gloved hands and it got smudged in several places. So when I went down to the basement to paint this is the first thing I had to work on. Originally it was oriented horizontally.

Titles to paintings usually come later. Effortlessly sometimes and other times after a long wait. Possible title:
