It's a blip Jim ....

Walking back home after one heck of a day not having blipped anything, I was heading past a former brewery now an artists' workshop space.

Someone - maybe a potter, a guitar maker, a framer, a leading children's historical TV entertainment writer - has in their window two football posters and, rather incongruously, a life-size cardboard cutout of Star Trek's Dr McCoy.

Staring out onto the lane in his mad way, I just had to have him for the blip. Why is he there? I have not a clue.

And lurking in the shadows is Tom Selleck. Set further back, he is rather hidden from view. Dr McCoy, or rather the fabulously named actor DeForest Kelley, rightly dominates.

It's a blip Jim, but not as we know it.
