Sea gull without the sea

There were a few of these chaps sat outside my office when I left work so I grabbed the camera and took about a million shots.

To answer those who asked yesterday what I do for a living; I design machinery for grinding granular materials down to very fine powder for all sorts of industries but mainly aggregates, cements etc... Bet you wish you'd never asked! I like it though. I've been a mechanical designer for nearly 10 years now and it still gives me a buzz seeing people using stuff that I have created. As I mentioned to Moss Trooper, I sometimes get my hands dirty and yesterday I was analysing 'dust' samples to check their sizes on a laser. Hence the blip. Today's a little less nerdy!

Today has been largely uneventful. I have started serious work on the bathroom now though. Feels like we're in the final throws of this particular project.
