Morning Meeting

As we walked along the seafront this morning we encountered these three locals who were clearly in the midst of a morning meeting. They, and many of their colleagues have been out in force today!

It's been a wonderfully sunny beautiful day here today. We've walked round the town, walked along the sea front, eaten chips by the sea, had ice cream, and generally done holidayish outdoor things.

We also BOTH had to have an early hairwash this afternoon thanks to the actions of MORE of the locals! They say it's supposed to be lucky! I shall await my good fortune with eager anticipation!

And, perhaps most significant for the rest of life, I have decided that I shall not attempt to go back to school. I don't yet know what will happen with finances - for the time being the little money I put aside in case the car broke down will have to be used, and I'll reopen my benefits claim too. Such is life.

But I shall start to work on my health again, both physical and mental. I've become very unfit again - my walking abilities here are testament to that - since I've been unable to look after myself properly since spending all my energies trying to work.

Being in this lovely place by the sea is working its magic - life is becoming clearer.
