12 hour shifts

This is my week off but I've been doing some agency shifts
to earn some money for a holiday next year.
I agreed to do 2 twelve hour shifts which were quite exhausting.
I've been looking after a lovely young lady with Cerebral Palsy.
She loves being outdoors so we set off for a walk into the village,
Saw these pretty baskets on route.
I didn't know the area so didn't know how far the village was,
By the time I got home all I could do was to sink into bed because my back was so stiff from pushing the wheelchair for so long.
However we did have a nice day and I've made a new friend.
