Bang Goes the Theory - Edinburgh Science Festival

The Science Festival is in full swing and while walking round the city came across the 'Bang Goes The Theory' roadshow outside the National Galleries. There were lots of scientific stuff around as well as a couple of the presenters from the show, one of whom was Jem Stansfield and here he is.

Jem has a degree in aeronautics from Bristol University, and, before his television career, worked in a Czech school and as a shepherd in the Australian outback. Among his inventions is a compressed-air powered motorcycle. He has worked on the special effects for the movies Lost in Space, The Avengers and Van Helsing.
