Speckled wood butterly (Pararge aegeria)

This brown woodland butterfly does not feed from flowers but can instead be seen feeding on the honeydew secreted by aphids. This species inhabits woodlands and hedgerows.

This blip was the first photo taken and I spotted the butterfly in our garden.
