Ladybird

Had a lovely lovely day today - the sort of day where you have been happy all day and felt tired by the end of it but you haven;t actually done very much!

We went to the garden centre this morning and on her way outside to get a table at the cafe Kirsten tripped and head-butted the sliding glass door - cue large egg lump on her forehead and a lovely lady offering to help armed with a packet of wet wipes. Luckily the lump has now gone down although she has a bit of a bruise! Thank goodness for safety glass!

We then (gluttons for punishment) decided that we would take her out on her bike whilst we went with her on roller blades - I haven't been on my blades in years and looked like a complete picture in Bears skateboarding protective helmet, knee and elbow pads! Luckily I managed to stay upright which is more than could be said for Kirsten who not only managed to fall off her bike but after we had cheered her up from that the fell over running! Poor little monkey!

Still she is tucked up in bed now so hopefully that will be it for the day although I am rather tempted to velcro her in! ha ha ha
