The Fairy Tale Fountain

The Fairy Tale Fountain (Märchenbrunnen) in Volkspark Friedrichshain, Berlin. It was designed in 1913 and includes 106 stone sculptures from traditional German fairy tales. The fountain survived WWII but suffered vandalism and neglect until a recent campaign to restore its beauty.

While the fountain is still seasonally dry, it serves this young footballer as a practice field.
