She was born by emergency Cesarean just after 9am on 9/9/99. A precious, long-awaited bundle of joy.

We fell in love with each other, instantly.

That night the nurses came to take her to the nursery, according to hospital policy, but I was having none of it, She slept on my chest all night and we hardly left each other's sides for years.
