In addition to non-stop musica nacional, dancing clowns, a priest blessing the municipal buses in procession, buckets brimming with alcoholic chicha, and papier mache vacas locas that spit fire at the crowd... this flaming cross and depiction of the blessed Lady of Sorrows made for a spectacular evening of revelry in the central park.
