Nick Blacka, Magic Hat Ensemble

Yeah, yeah, iPhones in dark places and all that but I wanted to capture and share a little of the awesomeness of The Magic Hat. Playing tonight at Matt & Phred's Jazz Bar as part of their UK tour, these guys (who include Hobopop Collective rhythm section Nick & Rob) are stunningly intelligent players with a strand of dark humour & a real flair for a catchy groove.
