Dad's acer
the last few days have been a bit hectic one way and another
there's a lot of changes going on - most of them pretty good.
OH's daughter has come to stay over Easter from uni so I have been doing a lot of clearing and sorting to try to make the front bedroom suitable. Got the doors on the wardrobe (they've only been sitting there waiting to go on for a couple of years) sorted out stuff that had been shoved any old where and cleared hanging space and shelves completely for her
Now I've got to move out of the kitchen back up to the office with my work
Also spent quite a bit of time in the garden and have cleared quite a lot of the random foliage draped over the pergola
The dark red acer in the photo above was my dad's. I don't actually like them much but we couldn't just leave it there to moulder and die, so here it is, six years on and four times as large
But still not managed to make it down to the allotment .........
And too busy to take any photos for a couple of days
