Haircut

I wish I'd taken a 'before' picture. The ivy on this building formed a giant green beehive hairdo, nearly half again the height of the building, until I decided to tackle it this afternoon. It's the ty bach (little house, or outside loo) at the bottom of our kitchen garden. When we moved here 17 years ago it was some time before we discovered it, the garden was so overgrown. The earth closet was long gone and it's been a useful store for garden tools. Once or twice we cut back the ivy, but today I decided it was time to clear it completely. Needless to say, the roof now needs some serious attention.
