Life's a Bitch Beach!

I decided to drive up to the beautiful coastal village of Alnmouth today. The weather has been so nice I just felt like a day beside the sea. I was having a lovely time as well wandering around taking photos and being creative so much so that I hadn't realised I'd wandered of track. The ground sank beneath my feet and before I knew what was happening I was up to my shins in a sludgy sandy muck. After swearing profusely I managed to pull myself free then the panic set in when I realised that I may have destroyed one of my favourite pair of boots. In an act of desperation I tried to wash them in the sea. I think they're going to be ok but the two hour drive back home with soaking wet socks and boots wasn't much fun. And all because I wanted to take some shots of the boats!

Now that I'm back home I can see the funny side to my stupidity and realise how ridiculous I must have looked walking back to the car but I can tell you I didn't at the time!!!
