Not a woodpecker nor a dog

Out walking today I could hear a woodpecker - tantalisingly close and loud and clear. The dog and I spent ages lurking in the woods trying to get a shot of the noisy bird but to no avail. Not to worry, I thought, I'll just take a nice picture of the dog on the way home. Approximately 20 seconds afterwards the dog rolled in a huge pile of horse manure - so here's some bluebells instead.
