Sunny day on the beach

I have had a glorious day! The sun has shone all day and my grandson and I had breakfast picnic style down at the river where we spent over an hour pottering about - watching birds, insects, butterflies, flowers and throwing stones into the water and pretending to fish!
His Dad came out the cliffs at Duncansby head with us where we bird watched and then ended up the afternoon on a beautiful little beach not far from the lighthouse. So lovely to be outdoors all day with not a care in the world with family.

Tomorrow I set off for the Isle of Lewis and hope to continue blipping while away. Aren't holidays wonderful?
