Trip to Aberdeen
Early start this morning. It was a glorious clear Spring morning as we set off for a 1 and a half hours drive up to Aberdeen to see my friend Gillian.
She has a lovely garden at the back of her house so we sat in the sun with a cuppa, Breagha sniffing around, and proudly came back to us with a tennis ball and a golf ball! She also sniffed out a dead starling. Gillian lives alone so goodness knows how the balls got into the garden.
We went for lunch and sat out again in the lovely sun - then headed off to the beach for a walk on the sand. Bit of stramash as a large boistrous Boxer pup ( heard it being called Lennox(!!), who had escaped from it's owner decided to "box" with Breagha, running at her and jumping on her, as Boxers do. The owner tried to catch it but it kept running off, then running back at Breagha. I lifted her out of the way as she was getting angry at the youngster. It then decided to try "boxing" a German Shepherd and Westie, but the owner of these two dogs aimed at kick at the boxer, resulting in a big row with the owner of the boxer. Plenty cursing and gesticulating then the boxer was rugby tackled to catch it. I didn't think it was aggressive, just boistrous and uncontrollable!!
Anyway, here is the VERY stylish Gillian walking along the beach. My husband was also in the picture, but I cropped him out!!!
It was a lovely day - thanks Gillian! Hope your new "comfy" Fox shoes haven't blistered your feet too much!!
