History & Hills

An amazing day out today, another one of those spontaneous moments where we decided to go for a walk, asked Rowan where he would like to go, and he said suggested the Old Man of Consiton, (it's the one he knows the name of, as he's been up before) why not, we couldn't think of good reason, so off we went.
So today was the day of Megan's 1st proper mountain day, both children did so well, and walked every step on the way up the hill themselves, (even Meg who's only just turned 4 in Feb only had a 50m carry on the way back down), I am so proud of them both.
on the way up there is still lots of history left over from the old mine workings, it's amazing to see, and the kids loves exploring some of it.
