Lambing

It's lambing time on Abergwynant Farm.

Lots of lambs being born every day.

This brave little fellow was a breach birth and it was difficult to get him to breathe. Eventually he started breathing but was very weak. He was put under a heat lamp and given milk to give him a fighting chance.

Sadly, at 4 hours old, (about 3 hours after this photo) he lost his fight and passed away.

We were all upset to lose him and it was the first one they'd lost this year.

Thankfully, all the others born while I was here are doing well.
