A Gentleman

In the afternoon someone rang the door bell.
After opening the door saw a gentleman standing tall with a Bible in his hand.

Gentleman: Hi
I: Hello
Gentleman: I'm here to invite you for an special event being held at Church (near to my home), we've guest speaker to talk about "Bible Principles" & how Jesus takes away the SIN of the WORLD.

Couple of months ago when I went to shoot Christmas Program I got 1 Bible from the Church and kept it in my car. Whenever I'm sitting in car waiting / doing nothing I take it out and read. Personally I'm an Atheist but I do have lot of curiosity to know:
* What is there in holy places that people go for ?
* Who is God ?
* Why don't billions of people do their job honestly instead of troubling so called God to take all their SIN ?

I've my own theory of non-existence of God and how did "the word" God emerge ?
I clearly remember I have been discussing on the topic of God for more than 14 years now. During my collage days we 4-5 friends used to sit under Banyan tree and after some regular chit-chat we used to jump on only one single topic "GOD" (Primarily we 3 guys, remaining used to throw their ideas occasionally). They all used to be in favor of existence of God and I used to give my reasons for "non-existence of God". It used to be healthy discussion only no dominations or feeling bad that other person is not agreeing. We used to collect more and more facts & topics to discuss every-time. I didn't read anything about "non-existence of God" in any book, I developed my own theory since childhood... as back as I can recall when I was 10 or 11 years old my Cousin first called me Atheist, it took me 8 more years to fully understand what it means.

When I moved to Delhi, after getting my first job, one of my colleagues (RAM***) used to visit me every Friday night and same series of discussion again started for next 1 year (until I shifted the job and again moved to another city). I didn't find anyone else afterwards to talk on this topic.

anyways: After so many years someone was there at my door to talk about God again.

I: Please come in, I would like to talk to you for sometime on this (if you are not in hurry).
Gentleman: I am glad that you want to talk and thanks for letting me in.
I: Please tell me in detail what is this event all about ?
Gentleman kept telling me lot of facts & quotes from Bible.
:Jesus was the Son of the very God" "He took birth to take away all our SINS"
I: If he was Son of God, How could he die ?
Gentleman: Because God thought there won't be any more need for him to stay anymore.

I: was not convinced. but I didn't argue.
* We still have all the problems ?
* Why don't God himself come and take away everybody's pain ?
forget about above two questions..
* Why should we human keep bragging about only pain, We kill animals, destroy Forests, Pollute Water then go stand infront of an statue to ask for forgiveness.
* Do Birds Pray ?
* Why do everyone wish (impossible) they shouldn't have any pain in life ?
These are the questions I DIDN'T ask him.

I do understand people have their reasons to believe in God, I never say they are wrong or I'm right. These are just my thoughts.

We were discussing for more than 30 mins, he was happy that he has an active listener, though I was full with questions I didn't ask any because that was not the right time (I had to go to office).

Finally he said, do come tonight you seem to have lot of interest.
I told him I'm working today and won't be able to join them
he said he'll visit me again.
Okie.. I'm going to India for 4 weeks, We'll sit sometime next month.
