Kite

Hot day in Christchurch today, probably 30 deg. We started off by blueberry picking. A nice 5kg haul ;-)

Then off to the park for a picnic with KD and families. BBQ, playground, and flying kites. An excellent Sunday activity.

The colours in this shot are nice, which is why I chose it, but in my opinion the composition is wrong. I'd prefer the string to be coming up from the bottom right, with the kite in the left third nearer the top.

Having said that, it was blowing hard and difficult to photograph at all!
