Wasp

Spotted this wasp / bee thing outside whilst having a swift fag. Snapped it. Blip sorted. Sweet.

Thanks to everyone for the comments over the last few days, I'm not being ignorant but I haven't had a second to draw breath really let alone comment. I'll be all over it tonight / tomorrow though so expect to see my name somewhere underneath your picture, followed by an attempt at wit or some sycophantic ego massaging.

Got the first issue of my fanzine out this morning (before work obviously) which I'm over the moon about. Not progressed the other offer just yet but will be chatting to John Pakey the sports ed in due course. That's one reason I'm so busy.

So this morning was my first appointment with a mental health bloke in Gainsborough. His advice? Exercise (I went bikingt his weekend, so check), stop smoking cannabis (catch up fella, thats so four weeks ago) and do more so I think less.

So this morning was my last appointment with a mental health bloke in Gainsborough. If I wanted advice like that I'd read Mental Health For Idiots or some other junk publication. Half way through the session a flaming builder walked into the room and asked for access to the loft space. Patient confidentiality? No need for that in mental health. Good job I wasn't having my bojangles looked at for extra cheese isn't it.

Still recovering from a great weekend. Me and the delightful Debs have continued the texting, but I think we are in a place whereby a meeting might be good. Just got to wait for the sun to die down as I do tend to perspire when nervous. I'm doing it now, but thats not because I'm nervous, its because I'm working hard.

I'll leave you with a little question. Which of these two things do you think is going to give the most accurate reflection of the current time in seconds:

Big Ben, the world respected iconic timepiece that presides over London and is maintained by an army of paid engineers, and used to mark the most celebrated moments in UK history with its famous 'bongs'.

The little orange digital display on Ross Bonds dashboard in his new van, the same display that said it was 22 degrees ysterday, then dropped to 16 degrees a second later?

I wonder........
