Three Musketeers

When my kids were small, they understood about "granny-photos"; these were photos where you all had to look at the camera, smile and stay still, because that was the kind of photo the two grandmothers wanted for the mantelpiece!

Far more interesting and revealing are back, or distant views, if they hint at the story behind the photo, or at the relationships between the children.

Here is Dylan on the shore in Norfolk with his half-brother and -sister, engrossed in the explanation of the rules for a game of hide-and-seek.
