Inevitable

This morning we awoke to the sound of trucks trying to get round the corner of the square outside.
There's a diversion closing off part of the Shore, with drivers being sent round too narrow streets. It should have been obvious to the council what would happen. Sure enough; this truck hit the parked car that you can see behind it.
Not the driver's fault at all...even if the council had banned on-street parking while the diversion was in place, there would still probably not have been room to get round with a long vehicle. No warning signs, either...
