Ewe Have No Eye Dear...
How much I didn't want that alarm to go off this morning. Had grown very accustomed to it being switched off the past fortnight, but there was mutton else for it but to drag my sorry ass back off to work. Four day week this week and next though so not all bad.
The down side of all that time off meant there was a barrow load of stuff to catch up with and by the time the whistle went at knocking off time most of it was still in the barrow. Maybe tomorrow.
Took a walk along the riverside afterwards to find that (possibly) whoever's moved these sheep in to the old stables down there has blocked off access to the riverbank paths with a gate fixed with some heavy padlocks and barbed wire. We've walked down that way for years so not sure why that's been done, especially as the local council have signs up encouraging the public to walk down this way. Nasty.
No idea either why I took a picture of this sheep. Nothing should be read into this whatsoever about my feelings towards theses ruminants.
You shoot one sheep...
