Pieris Pearls

I always think these flowers look like pearls. Back to work today and my five minute Monday Blip effort. Although overcast, I think the colours were improved by keeping the polariser on. I probably should have shot at f/8, but never mind.

I was reflecting that a year ago today I was stuck in Poland due to the volcanic ash cloud and I took me and my friends 52 hours to drive home overland. It doesn't seem that long, the experience is still fresh in my mind.

Just back in from choir practice. Passed the petrol station on the way home - 132.9p for a litre of unleaded. The price just keeps on rising.
