Signs of Life

A beautiful day...almost hot. The trees are still bare and there are still a few stubborn snow piles around, but at least there is no more snow in our yard. Almost unbelievable, considering we had a total of 80 inches or so this year. My daughter noticed these tiny flowers/weeds in the lawn -- life is definitely returning.

We got down to the business of planting the seeds we purchased last week. Once again, we're very ambitious and very hopeful. I'm especially hopeful that we'll have better luck over at the community gardens.
