Retreat

I went on a mini retreat Sunday night and Monday morning. It was wonderful to be outside, to go for long walks, to pray, to read, and to sleep. Things have been so so busy the last few months.

One of my favorite readings was from Thomas Kelly's A Testament of Devotion. He writes about the importance of cultivating reflection and inward focus in the midst of life's busyness. I cannot be reminded of this enough.
