Prawn takes a bow
Perhaps a little unkind but we see so many prawns that we become a little light-hearted about them. Of course, though we buy them in as Prawns, we sell them as Langoustines. This is just one of about two hundred we bought today.
We serve them on our Hot and Cold Seafood Platters. We also offer them as a starter or a main course served warmed in garlic butter and accompanied by salad leaves.
We are hoping that this weekend will be busy as it is Easter Weekend. Certainly we are organising to have extra seafood to serve. Tuesday is the beginning of our week and it is today that we are busiest preparing seafood.
Hopefully we will also have some lobster. They are always marketed as a special since we are unable to guarantee their supply.
