Macro returns

Thought it was time to get out my lensbaby, polish up the macro filter and have a go at some of the spring flowers. And spring flowers will mean insects on the way too, so double good reason to try some macro-action again.

I quite like macro photography because you can see the beauty in the things that otherwise pass us by. What I'm less inclined towards is the level of attention to detail required. It's really quite a technical exercise, requiring patience, expensive equipment, lighting etc.... all things I lack!

Anyway, I enjoyed having a wonder in the garden, looking at the little things instead of the big obvious things.
