Back to the Alps

I took the scenic route from Grenoble airport to Chambery, which inevitably took much longer than the motor-way.

This is the view from the D90 looking up towards Plan Peisey on the left of the valley and Les Coches on the right. These are ski resorts! an enormous cable car connects the two areas.

The mountain still covered in snow in the background is the Bellecote.
