Blue Tit

A Biology teacher of my acquaintance takes great delight in dictating a note to his pupils about the feeding preferences of birds: "Tits like coconuts......[long pause to wait for juvenile laughter to subside] and robins like worms." I went to Vane Farm in Fife to do some birdwatching. I saw flocks of curlew and oystercatcher, brent geese, teal, shelduck, lots of other ducks and waders, robins and tits. The birds were mostly too far away for me to capture them using the camera but using binoculars it was OK. I even signed up to join the RSPB.
