Tonight (this morning?) was the first time I'd been out really late round Shinjuku since the the big earthquake and I was surprised by how quiet it was. I still saw a few people a little worse for wear for the drink but they were few and far between. I've seen the streets busier during the Golden week and New Year's holidays! I imagine a lot of bars and restaurants have been hit pretty bad by the lack of customers.
