Cobweb Shimmerings

Took a walk around the Port Hills before breakfast today - lovely sunny weather but a mighty cold wind blew the cobwebs from our heads as we returned along the waterfront.

At least the wind wasn't around at home so we could enjoy breakfast in the warm, wind-free sunshine.

C packed up her stuff by mid-afternoon and we headed to Wakefield where we met J, J and wee A who had driven up from Greymouth to pick her up. It's been wonderful having C here for a few days but it's going to feel pretty quiet and empty now for a few days again.

Time to catch up on some school work whilst I have some time......
